Yeah, I'm in the game now. Glad you were able to get into the character creation screen. If you have anymore problems let me know and I will try to work it out. And I think the cas online is just an advertisement, thats all :P

Have you played dragonball online before or is this the very first time you made an account and is trying to play? Make sure you try right clicking the game running as administrator

Were you able to log in the game though? I hear other people have been getting pop ups that sound like yours. I know others have been playing the game for awhile now, so you should be able to log in. The game is just about patching for me, so I will check if I'm able to log in fine.

Yeah, you dont need to download it. Some people chose to because it is faster, but to save troubles just let the launcher update itself so then there wont be any troubles.

Check out that thread, though I am not manually patching it as I am choosing to let the game automatically patch the game for me.

Dont worry about it, I dont mind all the questions as I dont mind helping people out haha. Yeah if you can patch now then you should, although patching might take awhile, from some people I hear its taking up to 1 hour so I suggest you should patch as soon as possible.

I hear some people are in game already, but I'm not sure what exactly is going on since the game is still patching for me. I will try log in myself, keep me updated if you manage to log in the game.

We all know as much as you do. Since this is a big update, I assume it is going to be a longer wait then usual. The servers will be up and running within a day so if your going to stay up, expect that the servers could very well be under maintenance for at least the next 4 hours if we are lucky. Just remember I am only basing my judgements off the past.
