I've just recently added the ability to request to join a guild through the guild forums system. A join request can either be used by users who are looking to join the guild or for current members of the guild looking to get access into the guild's forum (without the guild leaders having to invite everyone).

To issue a request to join a guild all you need to do is go to the guild list, click on "Join", enter a message, and hit submit. Both the guild leaders and guild moderators will then be alerted that there is a guild join request and can either accept or deny.

If your guild is not set to recruiting (meaning it's not on the guild list) you can still allow people to send join requests at the bottom of your guild's info page. To find the URL to your info page: go to the guild forums page in the control panel, click on "Edit Guild Info", and then "click to view your recruitment page" (underneath "Additional Information").

No offence but I feel as if this is ultimately a usless feature. The fact is even if said person wants to join the guild you have to meet with the person ingame. If someone wants to join the guild they look at the leader list on the guild page and message them ingame. This is just making the process longer and not really more convenient for leaders or soon to be members.

Well yea you still got to meet them in game to invite them. But imo this is making your job as leader easier. I dont know about you but i hate asking everyone in guild whats your dbocom name over and over. (Thank you for adding this Cit)

I've moved the guild request form to the bottom of the guild info page. If you'd prefer for potential members to contact you in-game instead of through the forum you can make that known in your guild's information.

Dont worry Citrinate, I think it is a good feature and my guild is grateful to have it as we have recieved some new recruits because of it. Thank you for this feature, as my guild Vesperia appreciate it. Just posting on behalf of my guild giving our thanks!
