and i was wondering, its too hard to learn to read korean? how much time?
and i mean only learning to Read and Write, without learning what you are writing or reading.

it took me about a week to learn hiragana but from what im seeing just based on google, korean seems to be a much more complex language (in regards to letter combinations) than japanese so im going to give you a cop out answer and say it depends on how badly you want to learn.

lol just a week? wow i think i'm going to learn foreign languages. i got almost like 24hours free to do this. lol lets see if i can find some basic lessons on google.

i learned my english playing Metal Gear.(but since its the same letters i could at least read it lol)
Now i need to find a korean version of metal gear! Lawl!

한국말 전혀 못해요 would be 'I cannot speak Korean at all'
while 한국말 잘 못해요 is 'I cannot speak Korean very well'. :p

i use rosetta stone software when i need to learn a new language and it works very well. obviously its much easier if you are learning something that uses the same alphabet in which case its kind of frightening how quickly you can pick it up. but i recommend it if you feel like buying it. or you could just look for a torrent of it...also you need a mic to be able to use it.

it's not that Hard from what i see..
but it's harder than Japanese cause my keyboard "A" its the "M" in koreankeyboard, "F" is the "R". and lol... now i will just keep saying "ㄹㄷ" when playing SDGO and someone isn`t ready! ㄱㄱㄱㄱㄱ!
