I am not saying this works for everyone but this is how i got myself back into DBO(with English patch working still)

ALSO PLEASE DONT DELETE THIS THREAD? i am in the right forum AND in the Guide section! i am doing nothing wrong? unless trying to help people is wrong? lmao this is the third time i had to post O_O

Ok first you need to go to this link and Download this new Lang0 pack to replace your old one(don't worry ill show you how step by step)

After Click on the link, you will be taking to a file sharing website where you will scroll Slightly down and click "DOWNLOAD NOW"


After it takes you to the new screen just click on the word HERE to make it faster(it never seems to "AUTO" direct you like it says it will.


When the alert pops up asking you if you want to save or run, Make sure the SAVE AS toggled is in fact Toggled, and then click SAVE.


Now it either will ask you where to save it to(if your windows is older) OR it will just show you your list of recent downloads. Either way it needs to just be on your Desktop so either drag it there or select desktop. either way is good.


NOW, its on your desktop, just simply right click on it and select CUT. you will later be PASTING it in your needed folder.


Now Click your START button in the bottom left corner and then select COMPUTER.


Next you will select you (C:) Drive, then Select your PROGRAM FILES(86)(at least thats what it says for me IDK) NEXT you open the DBO_CT_TW file.


Next you open LOCALIZE then open TAIWAN and then PACK folder.


Now that your in the PACK folder you just right click on a whited area around the files and select PASTE to add your new Lang0 File.


You should recieve a notification asking if you want to move and replace the old file with the new one or make a new icon. you need to select MOVE AND REPLACE(which erases the old file and makes the new one go there).


NOW for the final step.. you just need to back track to the DBO_CT_TW Folder and inside of the folder you should find a file that says "DBO" opening this will start the game and will bypass the Launcher all together thus skipping the patching error everyone is recieving..

If I go in through the DBO.exe after installing Marugoto's lang0.pak, will that work with the English patch? Because the game works for me through the launcher as long as I don't run it as administrator, but the English patch fails to work along with it. (Not that it's a big thing; it just makes the game a little easier to understand XD)
