If anyone uses windows 8, will this game still work normally with it?
It works fine, but you have to run it in compatibility mode, which is most likely Windows XP Server Pack 3. If it is at all possible for you, then I suggested still using Windows XP. If you need 64-bit to recognize all your RAM, then I'd say go with Windows XP 64-bit. But good luck finding it. I couldn't find a legit copy and I've looked everywhere.

Windows 8 is an operating system, not freeware. You'll have to pay money to either upgrade your current operating system to it (I'm not sure if it's possible for anything before Windows 7 to upgrade), or buy it to install it from scratch.
