The main thing I see is Tien and Chaotzu restarting the Crane School. That really doesn't make sense to me. They left on bad terms with their master and his brother, and its quite possible they'd still be around at this point.

However what I would've liked to see, is near the end of DBZ, some of the Z fighters training regular humans in their fighting style. Afterall, they were getting older. and the earth still needed defending, and all we got for that position, was Uub.

Well, it also set up that Goten, Trunks, and Pan were training to become the next Z fighters.

Throughout the series, it's always been apparent that the Z fighters are more of a special forces unit than an army. I'm sure they would use the Martial Arts Tournament as a way to find the special fighters from around the world.

Not to mention, Buu at the end is now a good guy and would be a capable fighter and a great addition to their team.

You should read DB multiverse. Really good fan fic web comic. Check it out, if you're a DB fan you will enjoy. Good story adn really good art.

I second this. DB multiverse is really good, with some interesting what-ifs of the characters from alternate universes.

Actually I do read DBM :D I actually like all the universes they have included in it, all the different ways the DB story could have ended...
(then having the survivors of all those endings battle it out in a fighting competition, its a very original idea.)

I think U9 is very similar to what Goku wanted (and the idea of the topic). Human defending themselves.
Anyway, I think they gave Broly too much power.

Yeah, DBM is impressive man. I've wlayes wanted a story that included all the fighters of the past, and this was a perfect way to play it out. The creators did an excellent job.

I skimmed through it, and it seems to be on par with the original DB and DBZ series.
That should have been GT, tbh
