It appears that there may be several different tiers of Dragonballs. Higher tiers may drop off of higher level monsters/higher level quests and give higher leveled rewards. Lore-wise the Dragon can't grant a wish that exceeds the power of creator of the Dragonballs, so tiers are possible.

oh wow thats greats news ,this means that in the early lvls we can get the dragon balls really easy , but i wonder how the tiers will affect the dragon radar , still having better whishs its great , i wonder if the tiers have a limit of whish you know something like :

tier 1 : summon shenron 5
tier 2: summon shenron 4

it could be possible ,because i don´t think they will let you use the dragon ball 1000 times XD

well this is good because if the highest tier is the most difficult one to find then hopefully that is the one that you get your transformation from. that means there wont be millions of super humans running around a month after the game comes out.

I don't think there will be a built in limit. If you can farm lower level Dragonballs I think what would stop people from doing it is that eventually the rewards would become practically worthless to the higher leveled players.

it still seems completely plausible that there are multiple sets of dragonballs because with all the dragon clan nameks living on earth why couldn't they make more if they wanted to. but they could be different sets from different time periods. that might be pushing it though but they could just have different icons so you know where you got it from.

Could this mean that different types of dragons will appear in the game? All the dragons seen in the manga are different on each set of dragon balls. There could be completely new, and more powerful dragons other than Shenron and Porunga now.

I don't think that "any" Dragon Clan Namekian can create them. The only ones who have created Dragon Balls were Kami and Guru. Dende didn't create his own, he just upgraded them. I think the skill and knowledge needed to create them is only taught to the Elder of the Namekians.

They could be from the different time periods but that would suggest you either always found a Dragon Ball during a time line quest or you could just go back in time as many times as you want just to collect them.

I think the icons are showing different levels of Dragon Balls after you have already collected them once before. Like every time you find them and make a wish, then next time you find them they are one level up and can grant better wishes.


There are 2 different Dragons shown in the Manga. Shenron has always been for the Earth Dragon Balls and Porunga has always been for the Namek Dragon Balls. It's just that the Earth Dragon Balls were upgraded and made more powerful, but, it's still Shenron.

What does mean that "A" in the Dragon Ball?

I'm afraid the best Dragon Ball would be almost impossible to get, but it makes it even more exciting. Only thing I dislike about all the Dragon Ball gathering is that is very individual. In Dragon Ball, every time they looked for them, they did it in team.
I'd like that the 2 or 3 best Dragon Ball's sets can make team wishes.
If not, it would be less enjoyable.

I saying that since there are more than just the two sets shown in the manga, there might be more dragons that will make appearances other than Shenron and Porunga...

I'm curious how they will look like if there are any new looking dragons.
