ran across this project on my facebook wall.They seem to be coding on Ragezone release files. Their community is Italian but it looks like they will translate to english aswell.
How is this server different from any of the other people out there with the same files? I'm asking cause I really want to know, no troll intended. It's come to my knowledge that some stuff was changed, but nothing that big really.

SonWest, I think they use Akcore server. They add flying and working on battle/drop/aggro systems.
They even unlock quests, they have some quests too. Still I know this because I heard from other people. I don't know is it all true, but they making good progress.
Iceman, you can do all that on the files that everybody has, except flying.
And it's too buggy to be worth trying, we'll see what they come out with
Apparently 60% of the flying mechanics are in the KR beta files and even if they weren't it could still be added. It's true that the KR beta still has a lot of bugs that need to be fixed.

They got their own dev that is coding it. they are coding the client and source differently, at least that is what they say. The fact that they have dueling system up/pvp it mean their capable. Otherwise they would need to wait for hands out by ragezone. Which it looks like they are not.
The website forge is actually a hacking site. Their member just decided to base the DBO project there.

Yeah and still RageZone doing it better, well that is what I heard.
I agree in what SonWest said, there is just too much bugs/glitch on old clients.
If they made things that DBOR doing, working on new client, making own codes, they would reduce bugs for 90%. Still I am sure that all this projects have their own teams, they are good.
Still, good luck every team that works on DBO.
Btw Iceman, now that I remember, you probably are confusing flight with fight. I mean, its not impossible, but it's unlikely given that it's that similar, and lot of people confused it when they saw "fight system" on dbodev's video, happend to me at least aswell.
Alright dark, thanks for the info, I'll have to wait and see what they put up on the 25, but so far, it looks just the same as the release from dbodev, it's just what I've seen, we'll see :P
(I mean, tbt, in no more than some days/weeks you are able to have a working server? Looks weird, don't you think?)
