Yeah pretty much. The main reason why the other versions were more populated was because of foreigners able to make an account much easier without going through the hurcle of obtaining a KSSN. Despite this, the game still died due to not enough native players. Can't blame them though, of course people are going to quit a game when there is slow content updates.

If anyone else made threads like this I would be fine with it. Go on ragezone and read DarkKingdoms posts (under the username DBORELEASE). Of course he is trying to take shots at DBO R, don't let him try to fool you otherwise. He is just being more subtle about it.

Take a look for yourself:

Fair enough about wanting to play the game again. We all do. But he has just held a grudge against DBOR because they decided to be closed source, which doesn't make any sense to me. He hates on the project just because they want to keep the community together. I don't understand that logic at all.

First off Dumke already mention who I am on ragezone and people already know. You're getting rile up and upset over that fact that I personally dislike DBOR Project? So that automatically means I'm trying to ruin them?. No I'm not like some people at DBOR. The reason I dislike DBOR are a series of issues and how they were handle. Being closed source was just one of the reason. So I know I said I wouldn't reply to you but I'll be really generous and amuse you one last time.

1. First event, He "let" by let I mean allowed his members to post spam on his "Partner" website. So when I say let I don't mean he personally said "Yeah go do that etc". By let I mean he stood by even though he knew who the members were that was posting these spams on DBOCOM trying to get people to leave the site. Those bad members of DBOR put up people to make bad threads and making new just to slam DBOCOM. So why do I care so much? Because in my opinion a leader who allows their member to go off and do things like that without any punishment. Shouldn't be leading a project like this, so what did I do? did I go and post spam all over DBOR?. No I made a simple thread here at DBOCOM like always. Also to this date "They are still contributer statues" Whatever that is I read it on some of the threads here. But it looks like they have a higher statues on DBOR Forum then most. Which make it more seemly biased and corrupted.

2. Being "Closed Project" What did I dislike about this? Well honest answer. Their number priority isn't to bring back DBO, Mine was and as soon as possible. And yes since you were reading my previous threads. I'm only doing this for my friends of DBO on my facebook. I'll get message on the daily about DBO. And wall post about DBO, old videos and such. That how I even found out about DBOForge. I didn't go searching the internet. The only 2 website I visit is facebook and RZ for my "Source of information".

3. I Dislike the DBOR Project but I can say for certain I never tried to go out of my way "Ruin them". Releasing the source "Ruin them"? probably not from the result it seem it did better it for the better.

So conclusion series of event made me dislike DBOR personally. Though I'm not a bitter person. I'm not going to sit in my chair every time I go on the computer and think "How should I hate on DBOR today". There is much more on the internet to do that. Instead I let it go and focus on other things that interest me. So in turn I actually somehow without realizing, I accept the DBOR project for what it is and let them handle their members.

All my thread thus far on DBOCOM never first mention anything with DBOR. You guys automatically associate them on your own free will.

Our opinion differs but tempest, just know that when I get off my chair I don't even think of DBOR or hate that I have with people on the net. I just think about what it is that's important. Getting my ELO up on league. ok bye.

Well like I said before, if there is 1 or maybe 2 servers of DBO, it is way easy to handle them and they would last longer. About that 9000 servers, I know that is joke but even if there is 3-5 servers, they would last for 1 year or maybe less.
I agree that DBOR made right thing to keep it closed source, they want 1 or 2 servers if there be enough players. Trust me it is way better to have 1-2 servers than 200 others, and plus how you know that their team will act normal and neutral.
I am sure that even in DBOR, if GM's, friend's of GM's would get more and more bonus things, people will look for other DBO projects. Still I am sure that DBOR Team is neutral in that, they treat everyone same.

They are maybe to nice with some people on DBOR forum, I might not be nice with some people who talk shits to them, but hey that is me.
Still there is no need for hate. You can be part of DBOR Community, If you want to.

I respect your opinion but I don't intend to play DBO Again so I won't be joining any community.

I really hope this doesn't happen. When I played the Byond DBZ mmo, the biggest issue were the ridiculously corrupt mods. This is one of the problems of non-licensed games and can only pray it doesn't happen in DBOR.

*Avoiding the hate/flame from old threads*
On other news, DBOForge did sorta admit when DBOR comes out, they will just stop hosting anything :P (On one of their youtube video comments)

That will happen with all others projects, more or less.
They know that when DBOR come out, they will lose players that will play on their servers.

Btw i've just found out that they have their own team developing the game, so they are not using AKcore's files i suppose.

Sadly they were probably being sarcastic, 'cause on a comment they said something like "if revelations gets released before 2018 (hyperbole...i hope), we'll think about it".

The reason why people dislike you is the way you handled the situation. You infiltrated the project development forum started by this community, pretending to be a member with certain skills to help the team when you did not have any intention in helping. You then steal the files which was gathered up by members of this site (this community), and with your own selfish desires you posted the source on multiple sites without asking for their permission. RZ was really the only one to pick it up and do anything with these files. Just because you "dislike close source" which was the decision made by the leadership team, in no way possible did that give you the right to post the source code on other websites.

1. First event, He "let" by let I mean allowed his members to post spam on his "Partner" website. So when I say let I don't mean he personally said "Yeah go do that etc". Come on mate, you are seriously joking. You must be kidding yourself. You talk about leadership when you didn't even follow the leadership set by this community, because you went around posting files without their permission. I find it funny how you are trying to spin and manipulate the situation to your favour, when I just demonstrated how you couldn't perform basic instructions set by the leaders of the project. Please stop being a hypocrite. Dumke can't control people. He doesn't have a leash wrapped around them like you seem to think. Look at what you did, could he stop that? Nope.

2. Being "Closed Project" What did I dislike about this? Well honest answer. Their number priority isn't to bring back DBO, Mine was and as soon as possible.

Just because they are making it a closed project doesn't mean that it a bad thing. If anything that shows good leadership and good decision making. Have a look at RZ, they had a massive fight between each other and 1 of the members who worked hard was left to rot. That project has turned to shit due to them not having a leader and poor decision making.

3. I Dislike the DBOR Project but I can say for certain I never tried to go out of my way "Ruin them". Releasing the source "Ruin them"? probably not from the result it seem it did better it for the better.

Do not insult the community like that. You did not do better for the project. In your own sick and twisted mind you might like to believe you did a favour when in fact you didn't. You posted the source without this community's permission and you went against the leadership teams wishes. So yes you did purposely try go out of your way to ruin the project, otherwise you would have asked permission instead of doing what you did.

But if he didn't give out the KR source, they wouldn't have Jupeyy? Jupeyy seems really talented and will probably help get DBOR out a lot faster. It's not like he gave out anyone's personal code they'd been working on for DBO, just the source to the original DBO so the whole DBO community could work on it. Also the DBOR devs have gotten help from places like ragezone, and now Jupeyy. I think you're white knighting a little too hard.

People will play on which ever server they feel they trust the most, and of course, where the most players will be. Even those WoW Private Servers have a pretty snazzy setup in terms of organisation.
