Hi guys, I suggest maybe a profile privacy section in User CP to be able to hide and protect certain profile sections (eg. Contact Info) from certain types of people like guests & non-contact/friends. :)

has somebody been bothering you? as far as the guest idea goes it already works that nonmembers cant see anything on your profile other than i think the visitor messages people leave right there on the first page. the privacy setting i a fine idea but for the time being you should just remove that information from your profile if you dont want people to have it and only give it to others personaly.

Actually, guests can see all the same user information that members can. I looked a little bit into it and there does seem to be an easy way to implement such a feature, so I'll work on it.

It would be a bit harder though to allow users to pick and choose what information they'd like to hide and what they'd like to make public. So I'd much rather group everything together. If you or anyone else would like to suggest more of the profile fields to be grouped into this feature: let me know.

:) Luckily with my IM's nobody has added me and annoyed me about KSSN or anything regarding that.

Hmm maybe basic profile fields like Profile Picture, Visitor Messages, About Me, Friends, Contact Info, Albums, Group Memberships, Recent Visitors?
