ok... i put the pack on from the XP home disc, i loaded the game with Korean IE with applcale(or however it is spelt) i can even type korean, but in game everything is still boxes :(

did you restart your pc after you did all of that?

Well Don't let it get you down. You don't REALLY need the squares to be fixed. I actually played a bit with the squares. It would just help you be able to see what mob to kill from the quest.

I Had the same problem. After you go into regional options and install the east asia pack. you wanna go to the advanced tab and change the non unicode language to korean. then most importantly, you need to go to the list right below that and find the "extended korean"(this is what its called on my computer) language box and tick it. After that you will be promted to load from your cd again. after youve done that click apply. I did everything but the extended korean and i still had boxes. as soon as i checked that and restarted my game was fixed. If it wasnt for the guide i wouldnt have figured it out, im simply just reiterating what was already said

As i already said and they said it too,just follow my guide,your problem is that you didnt change the language to korean in non unicode language list.Of course restart IS A MUST!

P.S. after this you will be able to see HP and EP points and list of servers in starting of the game.And zeny for skills and many other stuff which were blocked by squares(no recognition of korean).

if you want korean for this game its all in there.There all the files I found so i cant upload anything more.Turn off N protect and try once more.There is nothing more i can help you with its all in here.

P.S.<<<<<<THIS ONLY WORKS SO FAR 100% ON WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL AND HOME.

nprotect error is is error of gameguard
and i using xp

i dont know how is that possible nobody had problems like that.GameGuard has nothing to do with that.Anyway try to turn off gameguard but i still think its impossible.Restart computer,dont start DBO,so that way gameguard wont start and then just follow what i told you,and restart again.
