I agree, but only allowed for children under the age of 18.

In a forum full of people who support anarchy and people who have an over-inflated ego for their "accomplishments" in a B-rated point-and-click MMORPG, I don't think this would do anything. You can yell and ban all you want, but if these people are going to make a mess, they're going to do it where they want, not where you want them to. All making a forum for those idiots does is encourage that kind of behavior. I can pretty much guarantee it won't stay contained in that section of the forum. The maturity levels of the players on these forums aren't high enough to be trustworthy.

In addition, there would have to be rules and limits to such a section of the forum, as things could get really, really nasty if let alone. I really think it's best not to do anything for those players and spray pesticides where needed.


Private messaging?

yeah like any1 pms each other, people like to argue and let every1 know about it , just human nature these days, if every1 pmed each other we wudnt need a thread like this would we?

Actually its a bad idea because people will provoke other people with lies there.

If people don't use the private messaging system to argue with each other, why would they hop over to the section for arguing to argue? As you said, they'd do it then and there, so the rest of the forum would still be a mess.

as i said , all the people that argue all over these forums now would be on a seperate forum arguing so that all the rest of dbocom wont see it, yes the forum will just be arguing but all dbocom is nowadays just arguing so at least it can be away from everything else, whats so bad about it? if u dont want to join it then dont join it, simple , problem is when threads got flamed everyone gets to see the argument and it makes things worse , this way if people want to argue they can do it away from everyone else to the degree that others wont know its happening

I think you missed the point. If people are going to argue about any point in a thread not in that section, they're not going to run over to that section to post in it to start an argument, because the other person will likely not go there. That being, the person will post outside of that section, arguing over a moot point, creating issues that the moderation staff will have to resolve. It's not like all arguing, name calling and everything will disappear once a thread validating all of that appears. It just further empowers those who do it.

i see your point which is why there should be instant bans on flaming outside of the section,flaming needs to be controlled better, its going to happen regardless but you willfind that threads which have been a giant argument is because certain people create the thread knowing that their in game enemys will post and then it becomes stupid, my point is that if you dedicate a section to argue (within reason)they wont leave that section because people wont be starting arguments or showing off in the normal sections

i dont like this idea, it wouldnt be useful at all and will only bring free anger on the forum for no reason. i hope this thread is only a joke...
