well hold on a minute. i personally get flooded (and by flooded i mean once a month or so) with private messages from new members asking for help with things that are clearly posted in the forum. they are always persistent in that if i help them they will treat me like a magic answer machine every time they need something, even if i just referred them to the correct area to post a question they will ask before they do anything else. in a round about way im saying a tutorial page that comes up when after people make their account to ensure they are not completely inept as to how a forum works wouldnt necessarily be a bad thing......but then they probably wouldnt bother to read that either.
