Everything is better then Dragonball Evolution. Even if you'd throw all your knowledge of the series out of the window and watched it like you would any movie without an already established universe, it would still be pretty bad.

I enjoyed Dragonball Evolution more than Dragon Ball SD, the Bardock manga, some of the movies, and the original FUNimation dub almost in its entirety. Why? Because it's so incredibly bad it's good. It's a masterpiece almost on par with the Street Fighter and Super Mario Bros. movies. In fact, it's better than Surf Nazis Must Die and Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter!

To be fair, Street Fighter: The Movie's greatest saving grace was Raul Julia playing M. Bison, and every scene with him in it was so incredibly enjoyable that it makes the rest of the film totally justifiable.

Dragon ball evolution was a good movie on its own, but when compared to DB/Z it was the ****test creation of all time. I agree that GT was better but GT is still awful and boring. If anything they should have continued dbz with new characters not Goku Jr or Vegeta Jr who were carbon copies

Not really. I can sit through Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen more easily than Evolution, and I think most people would agree that if you're not there for nothing but the giant robots, it's a pretty bad film. But Evolution is so bad it can be pretty entertaining if you watch it as a comedy.

Why continue with new characters if you don't have to? They're just something new for the audience to get used to. It's best to focus on an established and already loved cast if you ask me.

Okay, I started watching GT again, and I can see where some of the hate comes from. Lord Luud saga has some painful moments, but Super 17 and later is pretty enjoyable.

This was made with the intent to retcon GT cause the creator did not have a hand in GT originally...when he found his franchise begin to crash was when he jumped on to GT aka Baby saga and up and ended it on a bitter sweet ending but he didnt see it give his Dragon ball world justice so Kai was released to kick start the franchise again around the world and it's working... now for the ultimate goal... Dragon Ball Online gets a world wide release!!! but it maybe hard as most over seas games tend to flop in North America and huge titles here bombed too like Age of Conan, Warhammer and Lord of the rings online....so i for one will hope this game makes it here in north america!!!

I started to like GT because of the baby saga and the rest of the sagas but before that it was quite bad.
