Yeah they're a jinx. I don't want them on Earth.
Think about it, they get nearly wiped out by a storm, but they survive. Then Frieza comes and blows up the planet. Then they come to Earth. Not long after the planet almost blows up but the Z Fighters managed to stop it, then years later Buu blows it up anyways. Then they get settled on New Namek and that planet get's blown up too.
Obviously fate does not want them alive.

Then they're pretty good at cheating fate, considering they're still around.
They're a lot more resilient than most other races are, so that's probably a deciding factor. If whatever happened to Namekians happened to Saiyans or humans, they'd definitely be dead. With one survivor left from the first time, anything that can't reproduce asexually would have died out. The second and third time around, it took the magical plot device we call Dragon Balls. Be it luck or plot device, they're pretty good at getting out of situations like that. |

Also, maybe they're a bit too resilient lol. If Piccolo's cells were never collected, Cell would have been stopped in his tracks when 16 ripped his tail off. |

They've been around for at least 150 million years, considering the old Kaioshin knew about them before being sealed away. That's a lot longer than the dinosaurs lasted. If frequent cataclysms of their track record, I don't see them going away anytime soon.
