we already had a discussion about implementing a chat box and it was decided to be a bad idea because they reduce forum activity.

You can always go on ventrilo, the same one we use when DBO Beta.
The activity is less atm because there is no beta, but there are still a few people chatting.
If you don't got a microphone u can still use the chat on it
